is situated about 18 km away from follonica, with its beautiful sandy beaches and is a tipical tuscany style town. massa marittima has a charming historical city with an impressive cathedral, a lot of pleasant trattorias and bars as well as shopping facilities of any kind. the sweet water lake "lago dell'accesa" is about 6 km away from the town, tennis courts are to be rented cheaply. for golf players, punta ala disposes of one of the most beautiful 18-hole golf courts in europe.
